Dr.Choung has been very helpful and patient with my knee injury. My first meniscus tear was in 2020, so Covid restrictions legally forced us to delay surgery. Because of this delay, we had other complications, especially atrophy of my muscles, and my arthritis. After a successful surgery, and about 2 months of physical therapy, I was able to return to work. The physical demands of my job caused more "wear & tear," so occasionally orthovisc and/or cortisone shots helped immensely, until another meniscus tear in 2023, (same knee). Thankfully, Dr.Choung was able to repair, and I again was able to return to work. It was my decision to try to wait for retirement, before having total knee replacement surgery. My surgery date was 11-6-24, and already I feel so much better! The first week was very difficult, but since then, everyday is an improvement. I especially appreciate the home health PT, 3 x week. I begin outpatient PT next week, and look forward to getting stronger and better. ❤️

The entire staff and team are amazing. My left full Hip replacement went so smoothly that I'll be planning my right replacement less than 6 months apart. Dr Chong understands what quality of life means to his patients.

1st visit: one Xray later- no big deal your problem can be taken care of. Get some physical therapy and if anything persists we can do a very minimally invasive surgery and get you back to normal.
2nd visit after 8 physical therapy session: no new X-ray or anything -“you’ll have this forever, you’ll be on pills, therapy or have surgery but this will never go away, you’ll develop arthritis. It’ll just get worst and worst. Maybe even remove the knee cap” my son is 20 and autistic and cried all the way home after this.
Talk about callous, heartless, insensitive and cold! Geez
Polar opposite opinions…why? Weird just weird!
Went to another dr today that was perplexed by these comments.

I have been going to Dr. Choung for over 10 years. He is very competent and professional. He is willing to take the time to answer questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Choung. In addition, his office staff are very friendly, helpful, professional and courteous.

Love having doctor choung as my doctor he always make me comfortable with dealing with my struggles he helps and explains all of what I am going through and what I will be dealing with in the future so thumbs up with him and his staff

He is very good . He explained everything to hubby and me about torn muscle .I thought it was my shoulder implant but that's ok . I tried to pull myself up in truck which was a no no . I felt something . He is great thanks Dr

Dr Choung does not let grass grow under his feet. I saw him because of pain in my ankle, x-ray taken immediately, showed something he didn't like, had his nurse get me an appt for MRI, the same day can you believe it? A doctor on top of his game, looking forward to my follow up visit to go over results of testing. Hoping for a cure of my problem.
